CENTRAL LUBE & AUTOMATIC LUBRICATION PUMP SYSTEMS FOR OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY Strong, durable lubrication pumps are at the heart of every well-running automatic grease or oil dispensing system. Automatic lubrication systems supply machinery lubrication points with precisely metered amounts of lubricant from a single, centralized location. Typical automatic systems include a pump, a controller/timer and metering devices. Accurately dispensing, measuring and monitoring your machinery's lubricants are critical aspects in achieving a best-in-class lubrication program. Successfully performing these key actions positively affects your plant's overall operating efficiency and profits. LubriSource is with you from the first step in customizing fluid management to designing a central lube pump system that specifically meets your needs. When these processes and systems are operating at peak efficiency, they offer the opportunity to extend the useful life of your machinery. By continually monitoring the lubrication amounts and pressure of the system, the central lube system can recognize issues and alert you of their presence before they cause costly equipment breakdowns or failures. • FILTRATION PRODUCTS & DESICCANT BREATHERS

Filtering new and used oil—keeping it clean of particulates and moisture—will prolong the life of the oil and keep the equipment protected from wear. Studies have shown that as much as 70 percent of all premature machine failures can be attributed to contamination. The key is to purify the new oil as it comes into the facility and keep it clean throughout its operating life. By establishing an ISO code cleanliness goal and maintaining it, you will extend the life of the oil and the equipment. Large and small particles are destructive to the bearings, gears and other components of your equipment. By removing the particles, we can keep the equipment protected from abnormal wear. If you're looking to improve your current lubrication reliability efforts, a portable or dedicated filtration system—which is designed to screen the oil, removing large particulates and cleaning the oil of small particulates—is a must. WE CARRY A WIDE VARIETY OF HYDRAULIC OIL FILTRATION PRODUCTS TO MEET OUR CLIENTS' SPECIFIC NEEDS: - Low-Pressure Filters - Medium-Pressure Filters - High-Pressure Filters - Filter Assemblies & Replacement Cartridges - Reservoir Accessories - High-Viscosity Filter Cart - Desiccant Breathers

  • FLUID STORAGE & TRANSFER PRODUCTS

There’s a better way to handle and transfer industrial oils, lubricants and fluids. Improve lubricant storage by providing a better way to handle all kinds of oils, lubricants and industrial fluids that is easier, safer, cleaner and more cost-efficient than traditional 55-gallon drum storage methods. REDUCE LABOR WITH A FLUID STORAGE AND DISPENSING SYSTEM The inefficient transfer of product can lead to safety issues, increased cleanup, higher labor costs and the purchase of absorbents. Drums and pumps require tipping, cleaning, switching and replacing. When products are not stored close to the work area, going to the product wastes time. REDUCE SPACE AND INVENTORY CONCERNS With drums, actual inventory is a guessing game that can result in product shortages or costly extra drums of backup product. Drums waste a lot of space. For example, nine 55-gallon drums require about 120 square feet of floor space, compared to a nine container fluid handling system that requires less than 20 square feet of floor space. Drum pumps leave from 2 to 3 gallons of product in “empty” containers. This can add up to hundreds of dollars annually. Our fluid storage and dispensing systems come in standard sizes as well as custom configurations based on your needs. We offer a wide variety of product options that are 100% customizable such as: Fluid Storage and Dispensing Systems Includes 65-gallon containers, sight gauges for inventory control, desiccant breathers, ball valves, easy-to-reach timer control and a spill containment pan. Gravity Feed Dispensing Stations A gravity feed dispensing station keeps your lubricants clean and dry. Use one of our standard filtration systems to fill them with pre-filtered fluids to dispense on demand. They’re extremely modular to fit all of your application and lubrication needs.

  • SERIES PROGRESSIVE CENTRALIZED LUBRICATION SYSTEMS FOR PRECISE LUBRICANT DELIVERY

The Series Progressive system pumps oil or grease in either a cyclical (total loss) or continuous (recirculative) manner. Engineered to positively deliver an exact displaced amount of lubricant to every single bearing point, the divider block design is capable of operating in severe environments and accommodating upwards of 200 delivery points in a single pump system. HOW IT WORKS A lubricant pump is connected to an engineered network of series progressive divider blocks, and via a controller is allowed to pump lubricant in a continuous or controlled cyclical systematic manner to each divider block. A divider block, which is built in a modular style, contains a series of lapped, hydraulically actuated spool valves sized for varying displacements. The valves are progressively linked together in series, causing them to “shuttle” over to one side of the block in a progressive pattern, then to “shuttle” back to their original positions as the lubricant continues to be pumped through the block. Because of its hydraulic nature, as a valve is shuttled back and forth, it displaces a lubricant charge on one end of the valve to the bearing point, while simultaneously filling the void on the other side of the valve in preparation for displacement once the valve “shuttles” back. The ability to “cross-port” a valve results in “doubling” the delivery of lubricant on one side of the valve only. MONITORING To ensure every point has delivered a charge of lubricant, the first valve in the divider block can be attached to a cycle pin indicator that visually indicates the block has completed one full cycle by moving in and out one time. Attaching a counter/timer control to the cycle pin will indicate if no delivery has taken place within a given time period and signify a broken main delivery line. Blocked and crimped lines can be visually detected via simple mechanical overpressure indicators connected at the secondary delivery-line block outlet. Whenever “restriction”-caused hydraulic back pressure is sensed, a visual indicator pin “pops” up to indicate the exact line/bearing point requiring maintenance. If no electronic alarm sensors are used, operations and/or maintenance must perform regular visual checks for alarm indications.

  • SINGLE-LINE PARALLEL INJECTOR LUBE SYSTEMS

Single-line Parallel Systems can service one machine, different zones on one machine or even several separate machines. Regardless of the application, the principle of centralized lubrication remains the same: a central pump station automatically delivers lubricant through a single supply line to the injectors. Each injector serves only one lubrication point and may be accurately adjusted to deliver the precise amount of grease or oil required. Systems are easy to understand, install and maintain. You realize savings right from the start because one lubricant supply line means lower installation costs. Injector systems dispense either grease or oil in measured quantities, unaffected by normal temperature or viscosity changes. For large systems, LubriSource’s single-line design and powerful pumps mean injectors can be located long distances from original refinery containers or bulk lubricant tanks. Lubricant injectors are externally adjustable without special tools so each bearing can receive the correct amount of lubricant. No under- or over-lubrication at individual points. Each injector incorporates an indicator pin that gives visual confirmation the injector is operating correctly. When necessary, troubleshooting is the simple process of checking indicator pins. When injectors initially need service, the job is quick and easy. No need to remove supply line connections or disturb adjacent injectors. Replacement can usually be done between lubrication cycles, so there’s almost no lubricant loss or downtime. LubriSource is your qualified factory authorized distributor to provide design engineering, startup help and training for your personnel in the use and maintenance of injector systems.

  • SINGLE-LINE RESISTANCE LUBE SYSTEMS

LubriSource offers single-line resistance lube systems that provide precise control and are ideally suited for your machinery needs. The principle of single-line lubrication remains the same: a central pump station automatically delivers lubricant through a single supply line to the lubricant metering device. Each metering device serves only one lubrication point and may be adjusted to deliver the precise amount of grease or oil required. Single-line resistance systems can service one machine, different zones on one machine or even several separate machines. Our portfolio has system components that include pumps, metering units, control and monitoring devices and accessories. Depending on the lubricant, oil or grease required for the application, the system components differ in size and design. - Easy and simple to understand, install and maintain: suitable for almost all lubricants and available in both preset and adjustable models - Reliable: system continues to operate if one point becomes blocked - Easy system expansion: able to pump long distances and within a wide temperature range

  • SINGLE POINT LUBRICATORS

Single-point lubricators are designed to automatically supply a small quantity of clean grease or oil to a lubrication point on a regular basis, thus improving bearing performance. Key benefits of using a single-point lubrication system are improved employee safety, increased machine reliability and optimized maintenance operations. Single-point lubricators are suitable for a variety of applications but often are used on pumps, electric motors, fans, blowers, conveyors and chains. They can be adjusted to make sure that the correct quantity of lubricant is delivered to the lubrication point during a predetermined period of time. This provides a more accurate control of the amount of lubricant supplied when compared to traditional manual lubrication techniques. For an optimum flexibility according to application conditions, three series are available. Most suitable for points involving: - Frequent relubrication demand which is time and labor consuming - Machine shutdown required for relubrication - Safety implications due to difficult access
